“A recurring message that God showed me this year was to Abide in Him. It’s been 7 years since I accepted Jesus into my life and the only thing that has sustained me for so long on his path is learning to remain in him, whatever comes, simply if I remain in him I can continue and share his grace in me lifetime. 

Teaching others the word has made it possible for me to learn from it, listening to the reflections of my students is something that fills me with great grace, whenever I finish a study I feel grateful because I also receive a teaching from God through them.  I feel that God showed me more his heart and longing for us to take care of his sheep. And how to work better for his kingdom, knowing other missionaries and their testimonies God opened a new perspective on how to establish his kingdom in this world. 

The biggest change continues to be having to learn to deal with an illness. Many areas of my life depend on how I am physically and mentally. Battling with my health makes it more difficult for me to fully focus on the mission, but I feel God has used these situations. to get closer and hold on to him more. And thus be able to share the grace of God’s work in my life in those difficult moments. 

What I most hope for this 2023 is to be able to have more passion in my heart to share his word, bear abundant fruit, be able to establish committed members in Mexico and the countries of Central America, add members to the AM Mexico staff and thus strengthen the mission,” reflected Miriam.

Please pray the Miriam to remain in God as he in her, so that in the new year she can witness his power even more abundantly and that can become a testimony to those God will provide to her to shepherd and raise. May AM Mexico bear many fruits in 2023 through her perseverance and endurance.

“When I started to attend to AM Bible Studies I didn’t know that it will completely change my life. I started attending because I was curious about Bible studies. I didn’t realize that my life was changing until one day I looked back and I was not the same person. With AM I finally could understand my purpose here on the earth. Now I know that being a Christian is more than just say “I am a Christian”. Being a Christian is follow the steps of our Lord Jesus Christ and have a relationship with our creator. AM encouraged  me to have a bigger faith and never give up. This is where my journey starts and I am really happy and exited for everything that is about to come.”

Her concluding remarks were, “I really enjoy being surrounded by people whom I can share my love for God. I am really excited for my journey and for the plans that God has for my life.”

Camila was one of the first online students that AM evangelized during the beginning of  COVID that led the shift to online evangelism. Almost a year later, it is truly by the Grace of God that Camila remained faithful to bible studies. Everyone is thankful and full of excitement to see how God is guiding her life.

She began bible studies with Pastor Alma, AM General Secretary before being transitioned over to AM HQ staff Ashley to be raised.

May Camila experience great growth in the on her journey and may her life be a blessing to those she encounters.

“This is a special time in my life. I thank God for allowing me to be surrounded by all my leaders so that I can grow spiritually. I’m very thankful for each one of you and for the time you take to raise me. Sometimes I’m ungrateful, but I really appreciate you guys,” said Ashley. “I thank God for giving me the opportunity to commit my life to Him. This day came sooner than expected, but from this day forward I vow to put Him at the center of my life. I am excited to continue this journey and the many more years to come. Thank you to everyone who has also kept me in your prayers.”

Her concluding remarks were, “I have been to many other fellowships, but I am glad God led me to this community. Everyone testifies of the truth and really lives a life following Jesus.” Everyone was full of joy and big smiles as Ashley signed the commitment card.

Ashley was evangelized in Atlanta by AM staff, Vanessa. She later was a participant in the AM Los Angeles chapter.

May God continue to be with her on this journey and may she continue to grow spiritually into the woman God has called her to be.

My favorite part of the week is the Sunday Fellowship Bible Studies where I can fellowship with other AM students across the world. During Sunday Fellowships, we worship, pray, meditate on the word, and share our testimonies, reflections, and struggles. It is an awesome feeling to have a community that draws me closer to God. The more time I spend with God, the more peaceful I am.

There were many instances in my life that broke me but AM international helped remind me of my identity as God’s child. Even when the world tries to bring me down, I can stand firm and peaceful. Today I can proclaim the word of God and help spread the gospel through social media as a proverbs 31 girl! I could never be thankful enough for AM and their bible study program.

The worst part is that most people end up choosing the wrong path; they end up losing their identity and their purpose as a child of God.

Working with campus ministry makes me to reflect on my past life as a university student. That life convicts me to repentance and leads me to hunger more for God to work out my life. My desire is to live a life worthy of Gods Love.

Its my daily prayer and desire to grow to maturity to be able to help each and every young person that God connects me to become a true disciple of Jesus Christ bearing much more fruits than I will ever be able to.

Establishing Apostolos Missions at Harvard University was a great accomplishment for the ministry in 2016. The chapter leader, Ahran, became an AM member and held programs sincerely and actively during this fall semester. God has given her a renewed heart in order to take greater strides in 2017 and in the new Spring semester.

Ahran shared her reflection of the new year below:

It has been an amazing semester to initiate AM at Harvard last semester, and I wish to plan for the next semester to ask God to give me spiritual strength for the bible study. I had a dream of many stray cats and kittens coming into my house, they were all different kinds and they were eating the food I provided. And there were two big snakes in front of my house so I was worried how to hide the cats from them. Now that I think about it I need the sword of truth to kill those snakes and be ready to protect those cats and kittens. I see a bright future and a concrete plan of God that he is showing me about the mission at Harvard, and I pray that during next semester I will be ready to take in many students and deliver them the truth so that AM grows in number and strength as a God-centered group on campus. I wish to attain 12 student leaders and 40 students for the group.

Let us pray for AM Harvard’s goal of 12 student leaders and 40 members over the Spring semester. May the Holy Spirit raise Ahran to be a precious shepherd in this city.
