OM Founder George Vierwer Meeting Held with AM Leaders

AM International HQ leaders met with George Verwer, the Operation Mobilization (OM) founder, on Saturday, February 8. He had come to Chicago for a Bible conference at Moody Bible Institute and contacted the AM leaders to meet them.

The leaders first met in Jakarta in November during the WEA General Assembly.

The AM and OM leaders had about an hour-long meeting where they could receive wisdom and grace from Mr. Verwer. He founded OM in 1957 and is now an 81-year-old man who is still very active and passionate about global missions. He shared many book recommendations and his advice for being global-minded leaders.

It was a great blessing to speak with Mr. Verwer again. He will continue to pray for AM, the mission in Chicago and around the world.
