AM International is pleased to announce the appointment of a new General Secretary, Josephine Disla.
Josephine was born to Dominican parents in Queens, New York and raised in the Dominican Republic until the age of 11.
She later attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) which became a turning point in her life as she became a Christian during her Junior year and was able to deepen her relationship with Christ through a youth fellowship on campus. There, she had the opportunity to serve as a campus leader, and after her graduation, her passion for the youth grew and was evident as she continued to serve the Lord through a teen ministry in New York and Los Angeles.
In 2020, God led Josephine to Immanuel Community Church in Houston where she served the local church in various ways including local evangelism, discipleship, and administrative works.
The board expressed their gratitude for Alma Osorio who has served AM Int’l faithful for the past several years. “We’re so grateful for Alma’s faithful service and the growth she has overseen over the past years. We wish her God’s blessing as she and her family move on to serve in another ministry.”
“We are pleased that Josephine has accepted the invitation to serve as the next General Secretary of AM. We believe God has great things in store and that under her leadership, AM will lead many more souls back to Jesus Christ,” added the board members.
