On June 2, 2025, members along with their students within the AM network gathered for first of the month service, offering June to God for him to bless the works over the next 30 days. The service included prayer, praise and worship, the word of God, the May news briefing, and lastly a time of announcements to guide leaders in mission.
After the time of praise and worship and intercessory prayer the AM GS delivered the sermon through the Holy Spirit, establishing the faith for the new month.
The AM GS came from Luke 5:5-13, this message about prayer Jesus is trying to emphasize to the disciples, it can be hard to ask for help. The disciples must have been in this type of situation, the advice Jesus is giving is to ask despite hardships and even ask more boldly.
Leaders were encouraged to look to God asking, seeking, and knocking to experience breakthroughs in the mission.
Following the sermon, there was the May news briefing by Cowin Hodges which highlighted the significant news events in the network such obtaining a new center, introducing a new chapter that is set to pioneer in the summer, etc.
There was then the time of announcements that provided mission guidance.
The service concluded with prayer to remember God’s call being disciples of all nations and to build chapters as havens for people to come to know the Lord. May the word become an unquenching fire in the AM networks hearts in the month of June.
