In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. – Gen. 1:1

This most beautiful confession and proclamation opens up the Holy Bible. It is important to understand the beginning of creation because it also marks our beginning. If we wish to know the creation, then we should first know the Creator. Genesis 1 overflows with beautiful evidence of God love for us and His grand purpose for our lives.
