At Christmas, we celebrate the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the moment when God entered human history to bring salvation, restoration, and peace. The angels’ proclamation in Luke 2:14 reminds us that the birth of Christ is not only a joyful event, but a divine declaration: through Jesus, peace with God has been made possible.
This peace is more than a feeling or a seasonal sentiment. It is reconciliation with God Himself. Through Christ’s coming, the separation caused by sin is healed, and humanity is invited back into relationship with the Creator. Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promise—a Savior who restores our hearts, renews our hope, and brings lasting peace to those who receive Him.
As we reflect on the humility of the manger, we are reminded that God’s greatest work often begins in quiet and unexpected ways. Yet from this small beginning came a hope for the entire world. Christ’s birth marked the start of a new era, one centered on grace, forgiveness, and the Kingdom of God.
