AM Intl May Monthly Service: Seeking the Holy Spirit to Carry Out God’s Works

On May 1, 2025, AM members across the globe united for the May monthly service, the purpose to start the first of the month in service to God with the hope for the Lord to bless AM’s prayers, plans, and goals heading toward Pentecost.

The blessed service began with prayer, and praise and worship, followed by a sermon from the AM GS Pastor Alma Osorio coming from Acts 1:1-8, where Jesus is taken up into heaven. Following Easter, we are now learning the work Jesus started and what we are continuing today as his followers. The work of Christ is to advance the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of God is founded not by power or politics but on love. In order to carry out God’s work, as followers in Christ we must be baptized with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit purifies us from the inside out, transforming our hearts, making us new creations. With the help of the Holy Spirit we are encouraged and comforted to carry out God’s work. The hope is to seek God’s Spirit and have an earnest desire to be filled with Him in order to bring heaven on earth.

Following the message there was the April news briefing by AM HQ staff Cowin Hodges, highlighting the fruitful time of the Lenten period and Easter.

Next there was announcements given by the AM HQ which included going over mission statistics and the reporting system, the AM networks clear goals headed toward Pentecost, the need to focus on doctrine and Bible study and the power of prayer, and lastly a reminder of AM’s 2025 yearly list of events.

The monthly service concluded with a time of prayer with all in attendance anticipating the Holy Spirits work within the AM community in the next 30 days.
